The Newspaper Association of America just released its "20 Under 40" list of people "who represent the enthusiasm, talent, hard work and innovation that’s needed to carry the newspaper industry into the future."

Two of the twenty are from the Dallas Morning News:

  • Multimedia journalist April Kinser
  • Senior Vice-President of Niche Products Cyndy Carr, whom I just learned shares my exact birthday.

No, Scott -- we're not eligible for anything the NAA does on this tip because we're what they call in the biz "a pure play." In otherwords we lack the second half of the N in NAA.

But they're lovely folks and I've spoken at their conferences.

And Pavel, Cyndy is responsible for http://Neighborsgo.com among other new products.
