UNT Dallas’ planned DART rail station is subject of public hearing
A public hearing will be held on Tues., Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at DART headquarters (1401 Pacific Ave. in downtown Dallas) to provide for discussion of the (already DART approved) 2030 Transit System Plan, which calls for extending the Blue Line of the DART light rail system to Houston School Road and I-20 in order to serve the UNT Dallas campus.
The hearing will also cover plans to relocate the Lake Highlands DART rail station.
Naturally, public comments are encouraged during the hearing itself, but residents may also submit their comments by emailing DART Community Affairs at tcantu@dart.org; those wishing to speak during the hearing should call 214-749-3371 to let the DART board folks know of your intent.
