At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1st, Ed "Uncle Barky" Bark, DMN veteran and all-around T.V.-o-phile, premiered his new talk show at Stratos Bar and Grill in Dallas.
After 26 years of critiquing D-FW media for a living, Uncle Barky has stuck to what he knows best. His inaugural guest was Gordon Keith, of 1310 "The Ticket" fame and host of his eponymous late-night show, the only one around these parts. Back in March, Ed appeared as an in-show critic on The Gordon Keith Show, falling asleep, offering insults and drinking beer while Gordon interviewed everyone's favorite non-sequitor mayoral candidate, Zac Crain.
In the videos below (presented, filmed and edited by the occasionally camera-challenged Pegasus News staff), Ed and Gordon discuss how the latter got his start, how to deal with flaming hate mail, where D-FW media is sorely lacking, and so on. Also, Gordon talks about Jerry Jones' reaction to being imitated, and Ed sings an awkard love song.
