Dallas police sergeant under investigation for urging officers to make up occupations on citations
Sgt. Walter Clifton is under investigation for allegedly instructing his officers to make up occupations for homeless people. Clifton apparently believed that judges wouldn't issue warrants for unpaid citations if they knew the person was homeless.
Clifton is the supervisor of the two Dallas police officers under investigation for engaging in unusual or excessive ticketing practices.

Blake Ramick, says:
Is anyone investigating Sgt. Clifton's claims about the judges? Maybe there's more to this story.

I hope they at least made up creative occupations.
