Judge dismisses Farmers Branch apartment lawsuit
A lawsuit filed by owners of several Farmers Branch apartment complexes was dismissed late Tuesday. The complexes were suing for compensatory damages stemming from an ordinance that prevented them from renting apartments to illegal immigrants, but the same judge who dismissed the case had already put a restraining order on the ordinance, nullifying the legitimacy of the lawsuit.
'Course -- and I'm just guessing here -- whenever that restraining order is lifted, those complexes are more than likely to sue again. Ain't the justice system grand?

Scott Doyle, says:
Seems pretty silly they want compensatory damages simply for the threat of not being able to house people who are here illegally.
