Salad Creations, new salad chain based in Florida, coming to Dallas
DALLAS The first branch of Florida-based Salad Creations will open in the Village on the Green plaza near the Dallas Galleria, says the DBJ. A second will come to Knox/Henderson Avenue in late January, and a third in Rockwall near Lake Ray Hubbard by mid-February.
The chain serves "fast-casual deli wraps and soups." Local franchisee James Baune, who's doing this with wife Charlotte, made his money in real estate and has a Web site called I Buy Houses Fast -- "fast", one supposes, being slightly better than "ugly".
