Two University of Dallas men’s soccer players named to all-region team
Junior Adam Lunger and senior Jared Lee were named to the NSCAA/adidas All-South Central Region Team.
Junior forward Adam Lunger (Keller, TX/Keller H.S.) and senior defender Jared Lee (Grapevine, TX/Grapevine H.S.) were named to the NSCAA/adidas All-South Central Region Team after excellent 2007 seasons. Lee was named to the third team, while Lunger was a second team selection. Lee’s naming to the team is the second time he was honored by the NSCAA. He was also third team member following the 2005 campaign. Lunger’s naming to the second team marks the third year he has been honored by the NSCAA. He was a third team member the past two seasons.
The duo is coming off impressive seasons that represent the soccer program on the offensive and defensive side. Lunger was the team leader in almost every offensive category, broke several team records, and was named the AD3I’s Offensive Player of the Year as well as a first team forward.
Lee was arguably the team’s best defender, played a significant role in limiting opponents to .52 goals per game, and was instrumental in the team accumulating a school record 10 shutouts. He was also named to the AD3I’s first team.
