Located in the Campus Commons at Texas Christian University, both Teresa and Luther King Hall and Mary and Robert Wright Hall will open their doors in January, joining other recently activated residence facilities (Amon G. Carter and Kellye Wright Samuelson Halls). The two new halls will together house more than 300 students.
Also opening in January will be a 38,000 sq. ft. Barnes & Noble Bookstore, replacing the facility that was destroyed by fire in March of 2006. The B&N (at University Drive and Berry Street) will include a lounge, reading and study areas and a cafe with indoor/outdoor seating. Looks like a neat place to kick back, sip java and peruse Proust. (Hope they've got madeleines on hand.)
