CompUSA lays off 600 employees in Dallas, Grapevine, and Grand Prairie

The retailer couldn't compete with quality product offerings like these from eBay.
DALLAS According to this story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears Dallas-based CompUSA has given 600 DFW-area workers layoff notices. The employees, from some of the company's last remaining stores in Dallas, Grapevine and Grand Prairie, were informed that the layoffs would likely take place sometime in February.
The company's corporate office will close sometime in early March.
