Garland SWAT team to meet fans and eat meat
Ladies and gentlemen of a certain orientation, I've got your weekend plans set: Members of the Garland SWAT team will be on hand at The County Line barbecue restaurant this Saturday, Dec. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. signing copies of their 2008 calendar, which features 12 of their finest in less than professional attire. They'll also be talking about, you know, all that they do for the community, but who cares about that when you can ogle half-nekkid men while you're throwing down the Big Daddy Beef Rib Platter?
Speaking of the calendar, I especially like this month and this month: "Don't mind me, guys -- you just go about your business breaking down that mass murderer's door or shooting that kidnapper while I stand here showing off my guns."
