Some genius recently stole a truck full of American Fresh Foods ground beef that may be infected with the E.Coli bacteria. The tainted meat had been removed from Fort Worth-based AFF's commercial stock and was to be trucked someplace where is wouldn't end up in your mouth. The company is warning Texans not to buy any questionable roadside meat, however, AFF meat sold in stores is still considered safe for over-consumption.

UPDATE: Joyce Bovina of the Texas Meat Institute, issued this statement: "If you are offered for purchase meat on the hood of an older model car, or by a door-to-door salesperson whose looks are questionable, first boil any carcass before broiling, baking or frying. If any unusual odors are detectable or/and emit, roll all flesh (prior to cooking) in flour doused liberally with onion and garlic powders."

WHAT???? How about you just say NO! I understand that we have low income folks in the city but low income doesn't have to mean "without common sense". If you see someone who comes to your door and offers you meat from his trunk, his truck, or a nice rolling cooler - SAY NO! and while your at it, call the authorities.

Or only buy meat off the hood of newer model cars.
