Heroic real estateur Bennett Miller is building a new set of townhomes on Ninth Street in north Oak Cliff that are actually not targeted for rich people. He's doing 22 Craftsman-style two- and three-bedroom townhouses, starting at 1,400 square feet and less than $168,000.
He's been developing property in central Dallas since the '80s, including Magnolia Station near Victory Park, and the modestly-priced Millers Ferry Row townhouse project in the Cedars neighborhood near Old City Park.

Bennett Miller is a local treasure.
After my initial introduction to Bennett as a tenant, I worked for him as his property manager. I admire him to this day and he deserves all the recent accolades and more. He is honorable, practical, and visionary.
I wish Dallas had a hundred Bennetts! Our city would be far more liveable and affordable.

This and his other projects look great while they might not have the spa packages to go along with a place to live like some of the other developments in Dallas this would be something I could afford to live in and still have the advantage of the urban location with the pedestrian experience.
