Man severely burned in Dallas house fire
Neighbors say the victim frequently hung out on the front porch of the abandoned residence.
At around 2 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, Dallas firefighters responded to a call on Frank Street, just east of Fair Park in Dallas. There they found a fire consuming an abandoned house and a man on the front porch burned over 50% of his body.
The fire was quickly extinguished; the victim is being treated at Parkland Hospital and is being questioned by police who are trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
