Kay Bailey Hutchinson is wooed by presidential candidates in Dallas
DALLAS Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney met with Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison in Dallas on Monday, where they definitely did not talk about her endorsing him as a presidential candidate nor her role as a possible running mate.
Romney breezed through town on an unannounced two-day trip to have tea with Texas politicians and sample the local cuisine. According to the DMN, the closed-door meeting with Ms. Hutchison was a simple get-together to discuss the Romney campaign and, OK, possibly line up her support, said Romney spokesman Kevin Madden, but only if, like, she really wanted to offer it.
Also in Dallas Monday was Sen. John McCain, the Arizona Republican and GOP frontrunner, who undoubtedly avoided discussing anything of substance with Hutchinson, as well.

kirk, says:
You're right! I have it on imaginary authority that Romney spoke about the best way to brew Mormon tea, and McCain demonstrated the best way to send messages by tapping Morse code on a radiator.
