Good Shepherd closes down due to flu
Good Shepherd cancels classes for Thursday and Friday.
Thanks to Pegasus News user cjongirard for letting us know about this news via the following comment:
My wife teaches at Good Shepherd in Dallas and said that over 100 flu related abscences were recorded today from teachers and students. In result, all classes and activities for their school have been cancelled for Thursday and Friday.
We have confirmed with the school that they will be closed for the next two days. Here is their official statement:
Good Shepherd Episcopal School, like several other schools in the North Texas area, is experiencing a higher than normal absenteeism by faculty and students from illness. To be prudent about the health of those in our community, we will be closed Thursday and Friday as we believe that two days of rest, with the addition of the weekend, will allow our faculty and student body to recuperate.
