Former Garland football coach to be inducted into Texas High School Football Hall of Fame
Former Garland High Coach Chuck Curtis joins seven others, including NFL running back Priest Holmes, as a member of the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2007.
Coach Curtis led the Owls to consecutive state championships, 1963 and 1964, which were his only two seasons with the team.
The induction banquet will be May 7 at 6 p.m. in Baylor University's Ferrell Center.
