City Council Member Leo V. Chaney, Jr., to host Valentine’s Day Social for Senior Citizens
City Council Member Leo V. Chaney, Jr., will host the 5th annual Valentine’s Day Social for area Senior Citizens. The social will be held on Tuesday, the 13th from 12:30-1:30 in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center at 2901 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Evangelist Claudia Price, mother of singing sensation and national recording artist Kelly Price, will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies. Ms. Price is a breast cancer survivor who served as honorary chairperson for the 7th annual Sister to Sister Fitness Festival. The festival provides a day of breast cancer education specifically targeting African-American women and their families. Ms. Price is also a member of “Mothers of Entertainers,” a charitable foundation which serves the underprivileged, homeless and victims of domestic violence.
Contemporary Christian Artist, Ronald Julian, who just released his new CD “Going Through,” will also be making a special appearance to perform.
