Plano Senior High team wins academic decathlon regional

The Plano Senior High School Academic Decathlon Team, which captured first place at the regional competition held in late January, advances to the state event to be held February 23-25. The students earned 41 team medals and 18 individual medals.

The Plano East Senior High School team captured first place in the Super Quiz event, ranked second place overall, and won 20 individual medals and 18 team medals. Plano West also competed at the rigorous academic event, earning four individual medals.
