Obligatory romantic-Valentine’s-Day story
On any other day, this story about a couple that marries on a train probably would not fly.
In what will surely be a union that lasts forever and ever, Fort Worth residents Rhonda Long and Jason Cancino got married on a special Trinity Railway Express (TRE) train today. The couple won a contest held by local radio station KLUV.
The wedding went down on a train departing Union Station in downtown Dallas for the T&P Station in downtown Fort Worth. When the newlyweds arrived in Fort Worth, they were honored with a reception in the T&P main waiting room.
As part of the package, they'll spend the night at the Hyatt Regency Dallas and get a free dinner at Antares, the restaurant on top of Reunion Tower.
