Dallas mayoral interviews: Your questions for Tom Leppert

Tom Leppert
Tom Leppert

— Election season is kicking off here at PNWHQ, and we're doing our first of too many mayoral interviews on Monday. We're issuing an open invitation for every candidate for every office in DFW to come in for an interview over the next couple months, and our first victi-- I mean, taker, is Dallas mayoral candidate Tom Leppert.

We've got lots to ask him, and are going to do our damndest to avoid the traps of asking every candidate the same six questions that every other media outlet asks.

But here's our big question: What would you ask Tom if you had the opportunity? Post your question in the comments below or drop us a line. We've already gotten one good question from a reader -- but we'd love a few more.

Sam Clark, says:

Question for Tom Leppert: Right or wrong, the loss of the Dallas Cowboys stadium to the suburbs reinforces the prevailing perception that Dallas can't get anything done. What do you think the city should do to begin the process of reversing that opinion?

Joni, says:

I'd like to know if their is ANY candidate worried about the slummy LOOK of downtown Dallas? The billboards are pervasive, intrusive, and downright on the vulgar side sometimes. What can a Mayor do about that? (note: Do WE need to know where adult mens clubs are? And the 24 hr. xxx rated movie shops?)

Come on, someone needs to CLEAN Dallas up!
