Plano-based Cinemark going public

PLANO — As reported by the wire service, it appears Cinemark is ready to try going public once again. Their first attempt, in 2002, was eventually dropped, and Cinemark was purchased by a Chicago firm.
The company had lost millions in 2004 and 2005, but seemed to be on the rebound for 2006. Full 2006 revenues have not yet been released.
