Is this the Deep Ellum of tomorrow?
DEEP ELLUM There's an unauthenticated, but too-detailed-to-be-a-total-fake artists rendering of plans for the Deep Ellum "urban neighborhood" making the rounds.
There's no design firm's signature on it, so I'm betting it's an in-progress proposal piece. Still, fun to look at, especially if you squint and say "huh?"
Link props to Wilonsky, whose post on Unfair Park reminded me this was sitting in my email.

I can't afford to live in that!
Wait, look in the middle of the picture, just above one of the intersections... Does it say "HELL" in reversed type (so it would look normal to traffic coming towards you) in giant lettering that spans the street? Hell in deed.
