Glitzy fashion event at Victory Park gives Dallas the heave-ho
Dallas and its fancy new Victory Park complex are clearly not as cool as they thought: FashionWeekLive, a vain-glorious fashion show scheduled for next month, has been canceled.
The show was to have kicked off March 6 in Dallas, followed by Houston on March 8, Chicago on March 13, and San Francisco on March 15. Houston and San Francisco are still on the tour; Dallas and Chicago are not.
Dallas was supposed to get supermodels Naomi Campbell and Gemma Ward appearing at the event, staged inside a tent across from the W Hotel. Naomi Campbell!
It would seem that not enough people were willing to drop anywhere from $500 to $1,500 for tickets, champagne, and trinkets. Those who did can contact IMG for a refund at 866-840-8822.
