Fire at W Hotel in Dallas’ Victory Park forces guests out onto street
The surprise tidbit in the story about a fire that broke out on Sunday morning at W Hotel in the Victory Park complex is not that there was a fire (is Victory Park jinxed?), or that it started in a dumpster on the hotel loading dock. It didn't even seem unusual that evacuated hotel guests all wore their hotel bathrobes while waiting on the street at American Airlines Center for the fire department to finish up.
No, the surprise is that the hotel had "about 300 guests." The hotel has 252 rooms, officially priced from $279 to $339 (though you can always bargain room rates at a hotel). So 300 guests seems pretty good.
Anyway, nobody got hurt and there was no major damage.

eastside, says:
the Ghost Bar.. The best place for an over priced martini. Although the breath taking view of Stemmons freeway makes up for the price!
