The suspect driver continued moving the truck and backed into the police unit behind his truck. The truck struck the officer standing on the drivers side but did not knock him down. The officer on the passenger side fired several shots at the suspect driver. The suspect fled in the truck East on Westmoreland. The suspect abandoned the vehicle several blocks away and ran into the neighborhood.
