Four Diamonds are a hotel’s best friend
Best known for its merciful 24-hour towing service and its invention of the cyber-esque phrase "trip tik," AAA has bestowed its 2007 "Four Diamond Award" to 67 hotels and 31 restaurants in Texas.
First-time Diamondeers include the Hilton Dallas Park Cities and Cafe on the Green, the restaurant at the Four Seasons Resort in Irving. Perennials include Westin Galleria in Dallas (which, having made the list 24 times, is positively dripping in diamonds), Nana, Old Warsaw, the Adolphus, and Hotel St. Germain.
Establishments get ranked by a super-secret AAA team on factors such as cleanliness, ambiance, and service. The ratings appear in the 2007 AAA Texas TourBook guide, in print and on the Web site at aaa.com.

The fact that the Old Warsaw is on the list, let alone a "perennial," ranks AAA one notch below Zagat's as a source for advice.

Michael Davis, says:
What's wrong with The Old Warsaw? The filet mignon stuffed with lump crabmeat is ridiculous.
