West Dallas woman struck by New Year’s gunfire
As reported by nbc5i.com, Victoria Caballos and her daughter and friends were outside watching fireworks near their West Dallas home when she was struck in the hand by a bullet - from where, she has no idea.
Instead of completing her New Year's Eve celebration, Victoria was forced to rush to the hospital for treatment.
She is thankful that none of the children with her - including her daughter - were hurt.
Judging by police reports, gunfire was widespread over the metroplex.
