Tickets to the NHL All-Star Concert to Benefit The Leary Firefighters Foundation will go on sale Sunday, Jan. 7 at 9 a.m. The benefit concert, featuring rock and soul band Robert Randolph & The Family Band and singer/songwriter Amos Lee, will launch the five days of entertainment and festivities that surround the 2007 NHL All-Star Celebration in Dallas, Jan. 20-24. Proceeds from the concert, which will be held at Gilley’s Dallas on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m., will go to support The Leary Firefighters Foundation (LFF), a non-profit organization founded by actor Denis Leary.

Robert Randolph & The Family Band will headline the concert with a performance of songs from the band’s new album, Colorblind (Warner Bros. Records), including their current hit, “Thrill of It.” The rock and soul band, comprised of Robert Randolph on pedal steel guitar and lead vocals, bassist Danyel Morgan, drummer Marcus Randolph and keyboardist Jason Crosby, has toured with Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews Band, and Carlos Santana.

Amos Lee will share the bill with Robert Randolph & The Family Band and will perform music from his recently released album, Supply and Demand (Blue Note Records). In 2005, Rolling Stone named Lee one of the “10 Artists to Watch.” His music has been featured in television shows and motion pictures, including Grey’s Anatomy and the Reese Witherspoon film Just Like Heaven.

Fans may purchase tickets ($25 in advance, $30 at the door) on-line at DallasStars.com or by calling 214-GO-STARS (214-467-8277).

The mission of The Leary Firefighters Foundation is to provide funding and resources for fire departments to obtain the highest level of equipment, technology and training. Proceeds from this event will benefit LFF in support of “Fitness for Firefighters” Campaign of the Dallas Fire Rescue Department as well as the Foundation’s rebuilding efforts in the Gulf Coast region.
