Florence Hill Elementary student killed after being hit by car
Armando Ivan Garcia, a nine-year-old student at Florence Hill Elementary School in south Grand Prairie, was hit by a car on Monday while riding on his bike. According to other reports, Garcia swerved into street traffic to avoid hitting a boy on the sidewalk. After being hit, he was taken to Children's Medical Center where he later died. The driver of the car that hit Garcia will not been charged with a crime.
