Here's some information about the upcoming "The Dallas Music Scene Exposed II" seminar and show at Tomcats from Metro Muzik: The Union:
Broadcast via the internet on RenegadeRadio.net, Metro Muzik: The Union proudly presents the “Dallas Music Scene Exposed II on January 28th, 2007. As part of the Metro Muzik Super Bowl III (Jan 25th – Feb 4th, 2007), the seminar will be an educational session that will thoroughly expose the reoccurring setbacks that Hip-Hop and R&B artists experience locally in Dallas.
“The only way that things will change here for local artists is if the artist themselves are dedicated to make the change” stated Mr. Kuwn-Dalini, host of the event. “It’s way more artists than there are promoters, DJs, Radio Personalities etc. If we’re able to gather all of the artists and fully expose, discuss and resolve the issues that arise, then artists should be able to receive acceptance and support from those that can help advance their careers.”
Tomcats in the historic Deep Ellum Entertainment District will provide the backdrop as the seminar takes place from 5:30PM – 7:30 PM. After the session, attendees will be treated to hot performances from local acts including K.N.E.S., J.B., TBR, C.U.G., Bentley Green amongst others.
Special invited guests include Radio Personalities E-Class (97.9 FM – KBFB) and KiKi J (104.5 FM – KKDA), Famed Music Producer Erotic (E-World Ent.), Record Executive Smooth D (Emortulz Ent.), Pookie of Urbansouth.us, Promoter Ms. K (KMG Inc.) as well as DJ Drop and DJ Whiz-T.
The Dallas Music Scene Exposed II is sponsored in-part by Metro Muzik: The Union, The Big Dog Show, N Da Streetz TV and Bang Squad Productions.
Doors open at 5PM. For more information including admission and sponsorship opportunities, please contact the Metro Muzik Hotline at 972-897-2086.
