Duncanville woman arrested after abusing five-year-old girl
Lori Ann Wilson, a 44-year-old Duncanville woman, was taken into custody Tuesday after school officials at Gateway Charter Academy in Dallas observed signs of abuse on a five-year-old girl in Wilson's care.
The girl, who has not been named, had marks on her arms, legs and torso, exhibited a difficulty walking and controlling her bladder, and complained to her teacher that her "private parts" hurt.
Wilson has been charged with injury to a child, a third-degree felony. Bond was set at $10,000.
The girl has been taken to Children’s Medical Center Dallas for further evaluation. Her case is now being assessed by Child Protective Services.
