Guzick Elementary School remembers its namesake
Frank Guzick was admired by students and named teacher of the year several times. The new elementary school is not far from Skyline High, where Guzick was principal in the 1970s and 80s.
Nice feature in the Texas Jewish Post about Frank Guzick, who died in 1996 and was principal at Skyline High School in the 1970s and '80s. The new Guzick Elementary is just up the road from Skyline and had its official dedication ceremony this past November. Guzick was named teacher of the year several times and had a reputation as Dallas’s “dean of principals,” son Larry Guzick told the TJP.
