President of Junior League of Dallas wins Mercedes at fundraiser raffle
Lynn McBee, president of the Junior League of Dallas, recently picked up the 2007 Mercedes-Benz SLK280 she won in Dallas Cattle Baron’s Ball raffle. The car was donated by Park Place Motorcars, Ewing Autohaus and Mercedes-Benz USA.

Founded in 1974, the Cattle Baron’s Ball is the nation’s largest single fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Over the past 30 years, it has raised more than $28 million for cancer research. Held last fall at Southfork Ranch, the event drew a crowd of nearly 4,000 people.
“I was thrilled to hear Lynn won,” said Christy Coltrin, marketing director for Park Place Dealerships. “She has dedicated countless hours to a host of worthwhile causes. It’s wonderful to see her win this fabulous car.”
In addition to serving as president of the Junior League, Ms. McBee also supports the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas, Chi Omega National Fraternity, Community Partners of Dallas, Crystal Charity Ball, Salvation Army, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, TACA, Texas Ballet Theatre, UT-Southwestern Medical Center, Heroes for Children and the Visiting Nurse Association.
