Soldier from Irving killed in Iraq
Sgt. Paul T. Sanchez, 32, of Irving, died Jan. 14 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Sanchez was assigned to the 543rd Military Police Company, 91st Military Police Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.
