Top five candidates named for Southlake Carroll coaching job
The list of five is in, but that list was quickly whittled down to four. The finalists are Frisco's Vance Gibson, Plano East's Johnny Ringo , Keller Fossil Ridge's Hal Wasson and Andrews' Blaine Springston. La Marque coach Bryan Erwin was the other candidate, but he's taken the head coaching spot at Flower Mound Marcus.
The winning candidate will take over for the Dragons' former coach, Todd Dodge. In the past five seasons, Dodge's record was 79-1 .
