Former DeSoto swingman leaving UNT
Since leaving DeSoto, Roderick Flemings' struggled to find where he belongs. The 6-foot-7 small forward was a first-team all-state selection his senior year (2004-05), and was touted by some scouting sources as one of the top 50 college prospects in the country.
Flemings chose to take his 16.0 points a game to Oklahoma State. After a year with the program , Flemings left for UNT.
Flemings couldn't have played this season anyway. NCAA guidelines require a player to sit out one year after transferring.
Now, Flemings is planning on taking his game to the junior college level.
