University of Dallas appoints Exxon Mobil executive to Board of Trustees
The University of Dallas (UD) has announced the appointment of Lucille J. Cavanaugh, an Exxon Mobil executive, to its Board of Trustees.
The University of Dallas (UD) has announced the appointment of Lucille J. Cavanaugh, an Exxon Mobil executive, to its Board of Trustees.
Cavanaugh is currently the vice president of human resources at Exxon Mobil Corporation. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she joined the company in 1977 and holds a bachelor’s degree from Immaculata College in Pennsylvania. Prior to her current position, Cavanaugh was the vice president, global supply and distribution for ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Company in Fairfax, Virginia. She is a member of the board of directors of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Inc.
“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Cavanaugh to the University of Dallas’ Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Francis M. Lazarus, president of the University. “As an executive for one of the largest multinational corporations in the world, she will undoubtedly bring invaluable knowledge and perspective to the University as we pursue our strategic goals for the future.”
