After weeks of construction, Gilley’s Dallas is pleased to announce that expansion is complete. The 65,000 square foot facility now encompasses the Palladium Ballroom, Gilley’s Showroom and South Side Event Center. Designed to produce the best events in the Metroplex, all three venues can be combined to host events for up to 5,000 people. Each of the venues will hold public concerts and private events throughout the year, playing host to over 500,000 guests.
Palladium Ballroom
The largest of Gilley’s 5 private areas, the Palladium Ballroom features a 10,000 square foot dance floor along with spectacular sound and lighting equipment. Gilley’s management is working along with concert promoter AEG Live who will book weekly live music shows in the venue. Upcoming acts include Los Lonely Boys, Scissor Sisters, Dir en Gray and many more. The Palladium Ballroom is also available for private events up to 2,600.
Gilley’s Showroom
The Showroom, with its 15,000 square feet of space, is the home of Gilley’s Dallas. Gilley’s opens to the public on weekends with the best in Texas Country Music, dancing and the legendary mechanical bull. The Showroom is available for private events for groups up to 1,500 and combines the honky tonk feel of the original Gilley’s with the production and sound of a modern music venue.
South Side Event Center
Ideal for private events from 50 to 1,500, the South Side Event Center features three rooms that can be used separately or in combination to create the perfect themed event. Renovated in August of 2006, this outstanding venue is ideal for corporate parties, wedding receptions and small concerts
