You mean there’s all this on a Thursday?
Alligator Dave's CD release party is just one of your music loving options tonight. So many good shows, and on a Thursday no less. Are you sure you can handle it?
Since it's Thursday, and you still have Friday's work schedule on your mind, I have decided to help you out and do some of the thinking about tonight's activities for you. There are a lot of great shows and below we have just a few highlights. We like to give local acts top billing here, so you will find those first.
Tonight at 10 p.m. at the Liquid Lounge you can join Alligator Dave and accompanying acts in celebrating one of his many CD release parties around DFW and the south. I believe the final count for the number of Alligator Dave CD release parties scheduled is 23,762. Catch one.
If that's not your style, then you can head on over to the Double Wide for a night of good old plain rock (and some punk and maybe a little indie influence). The Feds are headlining, and well, they're just so darn popular if you have not seen them yet you probably should take this opportunity. Also on the ticket is Max Cady. Justin Moore, the band's lead vocals, came to our offices not too long ago to talk about the group and ever since I have been patiently waiting for them to play another live show. Not to mention that their new material is killer. So if you're into plain ol' rock and roll then this show is a good choice.
Now, if you don't really mind that a band is from DFW or not (what is wrong with you!), then here's a non-local act you will want to check out. New Riders of the Purple Sage will be playing the Granada Theater tonight with Brothers and Sisters out of Austin. I would write more but I believe the comment on the event page says it all.
