Noka Chocolate coming to Victory Park maybe
DALLAS Here’s an interesting wrinkle in the high-thread-count sheet that is Victory Park. If you click on the retail map which lists every damn restaurant, bar, and boutique, there’s an opening on storefront No. 19A for "chocolate shop".
As of December, this was reportedly planned as an outlet of Noka Chocolate, the notoriously high-priced chocolatier from Plano -- the same Noka Chocolate whose value was questioned by one local food blogger, whose expose has so rocked the Internet-foodie world that it's spilled over into mainstream media).
An employee at the nearby W Hotel says that a branch of Noka is still supposed to open, "as far as I know." Perhaps it's just a coincidence that most of the other restaurants and shops to come are identified by name, and the "chocolate shop" is not.
