DISD credit card scandal incriminates three principals
Two asked to resign; third will be reassigned.
DALLAS Two high school principals have been asked to resign, according to a story in the DMN, in the fallout resulting from the Dallas school district's ongoing investigation into the misuse of credit cards.
Dwain Govan of A. Maceo Smith High School and Ardis McCann of Spruce High School were asked to resign; a third principal, Dinah Marks of Burleson Elementary School, will be reassigned.
Officials would not say whether the principals were being disciplined because they used the cards themselves or were covering for others. More terminations are expected this week.
