Interview with Lisa Devine, Director of Private Eyes
New director in town, Lisa Devine, is already starting to make her mark since the opening of Rover Dramawerks' show, Private Eyes. Therefore, she proved perfect for my first Spotlight of the Week feature.
Mrs. Devine recently moved back to Texas, and she is going to be one to watch for on the scene. I got the chance to interview her about her career, her comeback, the Dallas theater scene, and of course, the show. She also shared what it was like to have the playwright, Stephen Dietz, present to see the show.
The show only runs until February 10 at the Cox Building, so you can buy tickets online, or by calling 972-849-0358.
The Theater Spotlight will feature a director or actor every week that has an ongoing or approaching show at that time. To suggest someone for an interview, contact Shawn.
