Arlington soldier in Iraq wins lottery
Sgt. Bethurel Griffin was serving in Iraq when he won the lottery as part of a pool he participated in in his job at AT&T in Irving. He'd been contributing $20 a month with 27 other people, and paid a year in advance before going to Iraq. They won a $12 million jackpot which translates to $200K per person after taxes.
