Team USA beats China at Global Games in Dallas

Team USA defeated the China National Men’s Basketball team today 91 - 75 during the first exhibition game of the 2007 Global Games, held at Moody Coliseum on the Southern United Methodist University campus in Dallas, Texas.

Despite the heavy downpour minutes before the game began, a crowd of approximately 2,500 were on tap to cheer the two teams. High scorers for Team USA were Tajuan Porter (20 points – he’s a 5’7” player who went 5 for 7 from the three-point line) and Stephen Curry (16 points). High scorers for the Chinese Team were Zhu Fangyu (20 points) and Yi Jianlian (15 points).
