Dallas police officer gets hit with Taser in what sounds like a totally plausible chain of events

— There is absolutely nothing fishy to this story about what happened to Dallas police officer Charles Jeffers on Sunday night. He:

  • got accidentally shot in the chin with his Taser
  • in his own home
  • by a woman who was "visiting"
  • while he was on his way to investigate a burglary.

The woman says she thought the Taser was a flashlight. He's on restricted duty while they investigate what happened.

That picture does not make a Taser look like a flashlight.

Ahem, it's a good thing his taser was set to stun.

Laurie Anderson Laurie Anderson is indescribably delicious. She's hitting McFarlin tonight with her new show, Homeland, and you can bet it will contain intellectual stimulation and pure unadulterated weirdness in equal measure. An album will follow the Homeland tour in 2009. More info
