Dallas police officer gets hit with Taser in what sounds like a totally plausible chain of events
DALLAS There is absolutely nothing fishy to this story about what happened to Dallas police officer Charles Jeffers on Sunday night. He:
- got accidentally shot in the chin with his Taser
- in his own home
- by a woman who was "visiting"
- while he was on his way to investigate a burglary.
The woman says she thought the Taser was a flashlight. He's on restricted duty while they investigate what happened.

That picture does not make a Taser look like a flashlight.

Ahem, it's a good thing his taser was set to stun.
