Dallas NAACP chief allegedly misused funds
It appears that he spent money on a hotel room, rental car, cell phone, gas, and cash advances while on trip to Detroit.
Casey Thomas, president of the Dallas chapter of the NAACP since only last December, is under investigation for allegedly misusing funds. He made a trip to Detroit where he allegedly used a checking account belonging to the NAACP's ACT-SO group, spending $1700 on a hotel bill, cell phone charges, rental car, gas, and cash withdrawals from an ATM machine.
