GRAND PRAIRIE More than 10,000 pot plants were found on Friday on the border of Grand Prairie and Dallas on a 5- to 7-acre field near the intersection of Farm Road 1382 and Camp Wisdom Road owned by Oncor, a subsidiary of TXU.
Up to 50 undoubtedly-ecstatic law enforcement types convened to clear the field, including cops from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Grand Prairie, Dallas, and pretty much any other city in the area that had its police radio on.
The field was discovered after a caller tipped off the Grand Prairie Police Department. Man oh man, who would do such a thing?
The plants' estimated street value was $4 million to $5 million.
