MTV star ‘Big Black’ to visit Alliance Skate park in Grand Prairie

Christopher "Big Black" Boykin, the semi-size, semi-celebrity from MTV’s show "Rob and Big,” will be hanging out at Alliance Skate Park at Grand Prairie, 1002 Lone Star Parkway, from 7:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Monday, July 30.

Come skate, eat and visit with Big Black, who will be judging a biggest trick contest, signing autographs, taking pictures and enjoying Texas-style barbecue. The event is free, and barbecue sandwiches will be available for $2.

Christopher “Big Black” Boykin plays the large-and-in-charge roommate and security guard for pro skater Rob Dyrdek in the MTV show “Rob and Big.” Big Black, who made his big break with the 2003 skateboarding film The DC Video, also has his own clothing line that can be found at bigblacksecurity.com.
