U.S. Department of Justice gives $1M to Texas cities to reduce crime
According to a story in the Dallas Business Journal, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, said Wednesday that the U. S. Department of Justice is giving $1 million in grant money to Texas cities to fight crime in neighborhoods.
The Department of Justice’s Weed and Seed Program is allocating $400,000 to Dallas, while Fort Worth will receive $199,000.
