On Wednesday, July 26, former schoolteacher Carolyn Blakes was arrested in Dallas for her alleged ties to what San Antonio's Express-News has dubbed "the largest Army contract-rigging and bribery case to emerge from the Iraq reconstruction effort."
Blake worked for a company in Kuwait that has been linked to money laundering, illegal contracts, etc. etc. On Wednesday, Mrs. Blake's Sunnyvale home was searched by federal police, and she pleaded not guilty in Dallas federal court.
